🍝 Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti
Ingredients:
Spaghetti: 12 ounces
Lean ground beef: 1 pound
Spaghetti sauce: 1 jar (28 ounces)
Cream cheese, softened: 8 ounces
Garlic, minced: 1 clove
Italian seasoning: 1 teaspoon
Garlic salt: a pinch
Parmesan cheese, grated: ½ cup
Mozzarella cheese, shredded: ½ cup
Instructions:
Start by Preheating the Oven: Set the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and place aside.
Cook the Spaghetti: In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Meat Sauce: In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until crumbly, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat, then add spaghetti sauce and let simmer for a few minutes.
Mix Pasta with Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, toss the drained spaghetti with cream cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of garlic salt until the pasta is well coated.
Assemble the Dish: Layer a bit of meat sauce at the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Add the cream cheese-coated spaghetti, then top with the remaining meat sauce.
Add Cheese and Bake: Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses over the top. Bake for 30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Serve: Let the dish cool slightly before serving. Best enjoyed with garlic bread and a fresh salad.
