Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken



Ingredients:


1 whole chicken (4-5 lbs)

2 tsp salt

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp white pepper

½ tsp cayenne pepper

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp garlic powder

1 onion, quartered


Instructions:


Mix all the spices in a bowl.

Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken.

Place the quartered onion inside the chicken cavity.

Put the chicken breast-side up in the crockpot.

Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until the chicken is cooked through.


Notes:


For crispy skin, place the chicken under a broiler for a few minutes after cooking.
