Nacho Cheese Beef Wraps 🌮🧀
Ingredients:
For the Beef:
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1/4 cup water
For the Wraps:
4 large flour tortillas
1 cup nacho cheese sauce
1 cup shredded lettuce
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Sour cream (optional)
Instructions:
Cook the Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef.
Cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and fully cooked.
Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
Season the Meat:
Sprinkle the taco seasoning mix over the cooked beef.
Add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet.
Stir well to combine and cook until the sauce thickens and coats the beef evenly, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Warm the Tortillas:
Heat the flour tortillas in the microwave for about 20 seconds or warm them on a dry skillet over medium heat until they are soft and pliable.
Assemble the Wraps:
Lay a warm tortilla flat on a clean surface.
Spread a generous layer of nacho cheese sauce evenly over the entire surface of the tortilla.
Spoon a portion of the seasoned beef onto the center of the tortilla.
Top the beef with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, and shredded cheddar cheese.
Roll the Wraps:
Fold in the sides of the tortilla to encase the filling.
Starting from one end, roll the tortilla tightly to secure all the ingredients inside.
Repeat with the remaining tortillas and fillings.
Serve:
Cut the wraps in half if desired.
Serve immediately with a side of sour cream for dipping, if using.
