THESE CREAMY GARLIC BUTTER LOBSTER TAILS 🦞🧄🧈✨
Ingredients:
4 lobster tails (about 6 oz each)
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup chicken broth (or white wine)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions:
Prepare the Lobster Tails:
Using kitchen shears, carefully cut down the top of the lobster shells and pull the meat out to rest on top of the shell (keeping it attached at the base). Set aside.
Sear the Lobster Tails:
Heat 2 tbsp of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the lobster tails, flesh side down, and sear for about 2-3 minutes until the meat is opaque and slightly golden. Flip the lobster tails and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the shell side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tbsp of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in the chicken broth (or white wine) and lemon juice, allowing it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir until combined. Let the sauce cook for another 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened.
Add salt, pepper, and lemon zest. Stir in the fresh parsley.
Return Lobster Tails to the Skillet:
Place the seared lobster tails back into the skillet, spooning the creamy garlic butter sauce over them. Let them simmer for another 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Serve:
Garnish with more fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for extra zest. Pair with crusty bread, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad to complete the meal.
Helpful Tips:
Thicker Sauce: For a thicker sauce, let the cream reduce slightly longer or stir in a touch of cornstarch mixed with water.
Cook Lobster Perfectly: Avoid overcooking the lobster tails to ensure they stay tender and juicy.
