Instructions:

1. Marinate the Chicken:


Place the chicken pieces in a bowl with buttermilk, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and thyme. Stir to coat, then cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best results).

2. Make the Mashed Potatoes:


In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the cubed potatoes and a pinch of salt. Boil for 15-20 minutes, or until tender.
