 Old Fashioned Egg Custard Pie, So Yummy 😋  



Ingredients  

- 3 large eggs  

- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract  

- 1 unbaked pie shell (deep dish)  

- 2-2/3 cups of milk  

- 1/2 cup of sugar  

- 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg  

- 1/2 teaspoon of salt  


Directions  

1. Preheat the Oven:  

   Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).


2. Mix the Ingredients:  

   In a large bowl, beat the eggs slightly. Add in the milk, sugar, salt, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Beat well until all ingredients are fully combined.


3. Fill the Pie Shell:  

   Pour the egg mixture into the unbaked pie shell.


4. Bake the Pie:  

   Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the custard is set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.


5. Cool and Serve:  

   Once baked, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool. Sprinkle the top with freshly ground nutmeg before serving.
