🍲 TREMENDOUS CROCKPOT BEEF TIPS & NOODLES 🍲
Ingredients:
1.5 lbs of beef stew meat (beef tips)
1 large onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 cup of beef broth
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup frozen peas (optional)
8 oz egg noodles
2 tbsp cornstarch (optional, to thicken sauce)
Instructions:
Begin with the Beef: Place the beef tips, chopped onion, and minced garlic into the crockpot.
Create the Sauce: Combine beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, thyme, and black pepper in a mixing bowl. Whisk thoroughly. Pour over the beef in the crockpot.
Slow Cooking: Secure the lid and set to cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Wait until the beef is tender and fully cooked.
Noodles: Roughly 30 minutes before you plan to serve, boil the egg noodles as per the instructions on the package. Drain and keep aside.
Thickening the Sauce: For a thicker sauce, blend the cornstarch with a little cold water to form a slurry. Mix into the crockpot and set to high for an additional 15-20 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Final Touches: Add the heavy cream and frozen peas to the crockpot. Let it cook for another 10 minutes to heat the peas. Mix in the cooked egg noodles, ensuring they are well coated with the sauce.
Serve: Dish out warm and enjoy the hearty meal.
