Recipe: Baseless Cream Cake

Ingredients
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup cream cheese, softened
3 large eggs
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
Powdered sugar, for dusting
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch round baking pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Set aside.
In another bowl, beat together the sugar, vanilla extract, and cream cheese until smooth.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gradually fold in the whipped cream, flour, and salt until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
