Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup beef broth (or water)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil (for cooking)
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Cook the Beef:
In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add Aromatics:
Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, until the onion is translucent.
Add Cabbage and Other Ingredients:
Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and stir well.
Pour in the diced tomatoes (with their juice), beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together.
Cook Until Tender:
Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and the flavors are well combined.
