Ingredients:

For the Funfetti Bread:

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour 🌾

1 teaspoon baking powder 🧁

½ teaspoon baking soda 🧂

½ teaspoon salt 🧂

½ cup unsalted butter, softened 🧈

¾ cup granulated sugar 🍬

2 large eggs 🥚

1 teaspoon vanilla extract 🍦

½ cup sour cream 🍶

¼ cup milk 🥛

½ cup Christmas-colored sprinkles (red, green, and white) 🎉

For the Sweet Glaze (Optional):

1 cup powdered sugar 🍚

2-3 tablespoons milk 🥛

½ teaspoon vanilla extract 🍦

Extra Christmas sprinkles for topping ✨

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prepare the Pan and Dry Ingredients:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

2️⃣ Cream Butter and Sugar:

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

3️⃣ Add Wet Ingredients:

Mix in the sour cream until smooth. Gradually add the milk, stirring until well combined.

4️⃣ Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients & Fold in Sprinkles:

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined (be careful not to overmix).

Gently fold in the Christmas-colored sprinkles until evenly distributed.

5️⃣ Bake the Bread:

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

6️⃣ Make the Glaze (Optional):

While the bread is cooling, make the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. If the glaze is too thick, adjust the consistency by adding more milk, 1 teaspoon at a time.

7️⃣ Glaze and Garnish:

Once the bread has cooled completely, drizzle the glaze evenly over the top and sprinkle with additional Christmas sprinkles for extra festive flair.
