Classic Roast Turkey
- Ingredients:
- 1 whole turkey (10-12 pounds)
- 1 cup butter, softened
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh rosemary, thyme, and sage (a handful each)
- 1 lemon, halved
- 1 onion, quartered
- Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rub the turkey inside and out with butter, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the cavity with lemon, onion, and herbs.
- Roast for 3-4 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let it rest before carving.
