Cranberry Meatballs

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 large egg

1/4 cup onion, finely chopped

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 can (14 oz) jellied cranberry sauce

1/2 cup chili sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the meatballs for 15-20 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.

Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the cranberry sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until smooth and heated through.

Add the cooked meatballs to the saucepan, gently stirring to coat them in the cranberry glaze.

Simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired. Enjoy!
