Herbed Olive Oil for Bread Dipping
Ingredients:
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Warm crusty bread, for serving
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and kosher salt. Mix well.
Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Transfer to a shallow serving dish and sprinkle with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired.
Serve with warm, crusty bread for dipping.
