Juicy Killer Chicken Thigh Marinade 🍗🔥
Ingredients:
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for a kick)
2 lbs bone-in or boneless chicken thighs, skin on or off
Directions:
Make the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, black pepper, salt, oregano, and cayenne pepper.
Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken thighs in a large zip-top bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or up to 8 hours for best flavor).
Cook the Chicken:
Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill chicken thighs for 5-7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Oven: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place marinated thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and cooked through.
Stovetop: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 6-8 minutes per side until nicely seared and cooked through.
Serve: Let chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley or lemon wedges if desired.
