Ingredients:
1 pound ground sausage
1 can Rotel (diced tomatoes and green chilies), drained
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Cook the sausage:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Combine the filling:
In a large bowl, mix the cooked sausage, drained Rotel, and softened cream cheese until well combined.
Prepare the crescents:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture on the wide end of each crescent triangle. Roll up the crescents from the wide end to the point, encasing the filling.
Bake:
