 • 6-8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

 • 2 tbsp olive oil

 • Salt and pepper, to taste

 • 1 tsp garlic powder

 • 1 tsp paprika

 • 1/2 tsp onion powder

 • 1/2 tsp dried thyme (optional)

 • 1/2 tsp chili powder or cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)


Instructions


 1. Prepare the Chicken:

 • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

 • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture for extra crispiness.

 2. Season the Chicken:

 • In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, thyme, and chili powder.

 • Rub olive oil over each chicken thigh, then sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly on all sides.

 3. Bake the Chicken:

 • Place the chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper, skin side up.

 • Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). For extra crispiness, broil on high for the last 2-3 minutes, but watch closely to avoid burning.

 4. Serve:

 • Let the chicken thighs rest for a few minutes before serving.
