 Turkey Stuffing Balls 🍗🥳



Ingredients:


- 1 pound ground turkey

- 2 cups bread crumbs (preferably whole wheat)

- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped

- 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

- 1 teaspoon dried sage

- 1 teaspoon dried thyme

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

- 1/2 cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth)

- 1 large egg, beaten

- Olive oil for drizzling


Instructions:


1. Preheat the Oven:


   - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.


2. Sauté the Vegetables:


   - In a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil. 

   - Sauté the chopped onion, celery, and minced garlic until softened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.


3. Combine Ingredients:


   - In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, bread crumbs, sautéed vegetables, chopped parsley, sage, thyme, salt, pepper, chicken broth, and beaten egg. 

   - Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.


4. Form the Stuffing Balls:


   - Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.


5. Bake the Stuffing Balls:


   - Drizzle a little olive oil over the stuffing balls for added flavor and moisture.

   - Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.


6. Serve:


   - Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them warm as a delicious side dish or appetizer!
