Ingredients:


For the Pizza:


1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Juice of 1/2 lemon

Zest of 1/2 lemon (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Pizza Sauce (optional):


1/4 cup olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp dried basil

1/4 tsp salt and pepper

Instructions:


Prepare the Pizza Dough:


Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness and transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet.

Cook the Shrimp:


Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink and are cooked through.

Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), and sauté for another 30 seconds until fragrant.

Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the Pizza Sauce (optional):


In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in the oregano, basil, salt, and pepper, and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Brush the prepared sauce over the pizza dough, leaving the edges free.

Assemble the Pizza:


Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the dough.

Evenly distribute the cooked shrimp over the pizza.

Add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.

Bake the Pizza:


Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.

Garnish and Serve:


Once out of the oven, sprinkle the pizza with chopped parsley, lemon zest (if desired), and a little extra lemon juice for freshness.

Tips:


For a gluten-free version, use a gluten-free pizza crust.
