Lemon Garlic Butter Lamb Chops 🐑

Ingredients:

- 4 lamb chops

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

- 4 garlic cloves, minced

- Zest and juice of 1 lemon

- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Fresh lemon slices for garnish

Instructions:

1. Start by seasoning the lamb chops with salt and pepper on both sides.

2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

3. Add the lamb chops to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

4. Once the chops are cooked, remove them from the skillet and set them aside on a plate.

5. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 2 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant.

6. Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and fresh rosemary. Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes.

7. Return the lamb chops to the skillet, spooning the garlic lemon butter over the top. Cook for an additional minute to warm them through.

8. Transfer the lamb chops to a serving platter, drizzle with the garlic butter, and garnish with fresh lemon slices.

Notes:

Feel free to add a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.

You can marinate the lamb chops in the lemon-garlic butter for a few hours for even more flavor!
