Zesty Garlic Bliss Sauce for Pizza 🍕🧄
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust for spice preference)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Heat the Oil: In a small saucepan, gently heat the olive oil over low heat. Be careful not to let it smoke.
2. Add Garlic: Once the olive oil is warm (not boiling), add the minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant and begins to soften (do not let it brown).
3. Spice It Up: Stir in the red pepper flakes, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional minute until the herbs are fragrant.
4. Finish the Sauce: Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the chopped fresh parsley, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese if using. Mix well to combine all ingredients beautifully.
5. Cool and Store: Let the sauce cool before transferring it to a jar or container. It can be used immediately or stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
